Motivated by the knowledge that the Word of the Lord will go forth from Jerusalem to the Nations, and guided by a commitment to read the New Testament in its first century context, Jerusalem Seminary provides cutting-edge ministry training that stresses the unity of the body of Messiah expressed within the complementary frameworks of a mature Messianic Judaism and a vital Christianity.
Our goal is for students to learn to read the Hebrew Scriptures in its original language. We believe the communicative method reaches this goal in the fastest, deepest and most effective way.
With Israeli teachers as their guides, students are delighted by the joys of speaking, singing, praying, and story telling in Biblical Hebrew, all while developing reading skills to a level of mastery. We train local Israeli followers of Jesus to teach Biblical Hebrew as a Living Language.
Our teachers read the Bible in Biblical Hebrew as their primary source and have a natural feel for the language not found anywhere else in the world. They bring a depth of understanding in Jewish culture and the land of the Bible… their home.
